GD HEALTH is written for everybody — including readers who use screen readers, magnifiers, or who simply read on a small phone with a weak network. This page explains our commitment and how to tell us when we fall short.
1. Our Commitment
We aim to meet the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA wherever we can. Health information is only useful if everyone can read it.
2. What We Do
1. Plain language. Short sentences, everyday Nigerian English, no unnecessary jargon.
2. Readable text. Generous text size and spacing that works on small screens and cheap phones.
3. Clear structure. Headings and numbered sections so screen readers and busy readers can both navigate.
4. Text alternatives. Descriptions for images wherever images are used.
5. Colour contrast. Text and backgrounds chosen to stay readable in bright daylight.
3. Known Limitations
GD HEALTH is a young, family-run blog. Some older articles may not yet meet every accessibility target, and third-party advertisements on the site are outside our direct control. We improve things as we find them.
4. Help Us Improve
If any page is hard to read, hard to see, or hard to use — tell us. Message us on WhatsApp at 0913 784 2661 or email hello@gdsite.com.ng with the page address and the problem. We take accessibility reports seriously and fix what we can, quickly.
See our Community Guidelines and Contact page for more ways to reach us.
