GDPR — EU Data Protection Rights — GD HEALTH

Last updated: 28 September 2026

GD HEALTH welcomes readers from the European Union and the European Economic Area. This page explains how the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to your visit. It works together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who This Applies To

GDPR protects people in the EU and EEA wherever a website is based. GD HEALTH is a Nigerian website run by the GODUMSITE family, but if you are visiting from Europe, your GDPR rights apply to the little data we hold about you.

2. What We Collect and Why

We collect only: (a) messages you send us by WhatsApp or email, used to reply to you (legitimate interest in answering you); and (b) anonymous, aggregated analytics about site visits, used to improve our content. We do not run user accounts, do not send marketing emails, and do not profile visitors.

3. Your GDPR Rights

You have the right to:

1. Access — ask what data we hold about you.
2. Rectification — ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
3. Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
4. Restriction and objection — ask us to limit or stop processing.
5. Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
6. Complain — lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Because we hold so little data, we can usually honour these requests the same week. Write to hello@gdsite.com.ng and tell us what you need.

4. Cookies and Consent

We use only essential and basic analytics cookies — nothing that follows you around the internet. You can control cookies in your browser at any time; see our Cookie Policy.

5. Data Transfers and Security

Our hosting is in the European data centre region of our hosting provider, and messages are stored on secured servers with access limited to our small team. We never sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
