Advertising Policy — GD HEALTH

GD HEALTH accepts advertising that meets our standards — honest, legal, and never in conflict with our readers’ health. This policy tells advertisers and readers exactly what those standards are.

1. What We Accept

We accept advertising from pharmacies, hospitals, health insurance providers, laboratories, fitness brands, health-focused food and beverage brands, health devices, and general consumer brands whose products are legal and safe. We also accept relevant ads from non-health brands that serve Nigerian audiences.

2. What We Refuse — No Exceptions

Because our readers trust us with their health, we flatly refuse advertising for:

1. Unapproved or “miracle” cures — anything claiming to cure diabetes, hypertension, HIV, cancer or fibroid overnight.
2. Herbal mixtures making medical claims they cannot prove.
3. Fake drugs, unregistered pharmaceuticals, or unauthorized importers.
4. Sexual enhancement products with unverifiable claims.
5. Weight-loss products promising impossible results.
6. Anything illegal under Nigerian law.

This list is not exhaustive. If an ad would embarrass us in front of a doctor, it does not run.

3. Clear Separation of Ads and Content

Advertising is always visibly distinguishable from editorial content. Sponsored articles, if ever accepted, are clearly labelled “Sponsored.” Advertisers cannot review, edit or veto our articles — see our Editorial Policy.

4. Third-Party Networks

Where we use third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdSense), those networks follow their own review systems. If you ever see an ad on GD HEALTH that breaks the standards above, screenshot it and send it to hello@gdsite.com.ng — we will report it and push for its removal.

5. Complaints

Readers can complain about any advertisement on this site via WhatsApp 0913 784 2661 or email hello@gdsite.com.ng. We take complaints seriously and respond within a few working days.
